Investment Literacy Programs Built for Canadian Businesses
Most employees make financial decisions without understanding the basics. And that costs everyone—workers lose out on growth opportunities, while businesses see turnover increase when staff feel financially unstable.
We work with companies across Ontario who want to change that. Our programs help teams understand investment fundamentals, risk management, and long-term planning in ways that actually stick.
Real financial education, not sales pitches dressed up as learning.
Discuss Your Team's Needs
What We Actually Cover
These aren't generic seminars. Each program gets customized based on what your team actually needs to know.
Foundation Workshops
For teams who need to start with the basics. We cover investment types, account structures, and how to read market information without getting overwhelmed.
- RRSP and TFSA mechanics beyond the brochure copy
- Understanding compound growth with real numbers
- Reading financial statements without a finance degree
- Spotting red flags in investment pitches
Risk Assessment Sessions
Most people think they understand their risk tolerance until markets drop. These sessions help staff figure out what their actual comfort level is.
- Portfolio diversification that makes sense
- How different asset classes behave in various conditions
- When market timing costs more than it helps
- Building strategies that match life stages
Retirement Planning Track
This one addresses the elephant in the room—how much people actually need to save and whether their current approach will get them there.
- Calculating realistic retirement numbers
- Understanding employer matching programs
- CPP and OAS integration strategies
- Adjusting plans when life changes course
Advanced Topics Module
For teams with some investment experience who want to go deeper into specific areas or explore more complex strategies.
- Tax-efficient withdrawal strategies
- Estate planning basics for investors
- Alternative investments and their actual role
- Navigating market volatility with confidence
Who Delivers These Programs
Callum Torsten

Former portfolio manager who got tired of watching people make preventable mistakes. Now spends his time teaching practical investment literacy to teams who want to actually understand their money. Based in Hamilton, works with companies throughout the Golden Horseshoe region.

How We Typically Work With Companies
Initial Assessment
We talk with your HR team and sample some employees to understand where knowledge gaps actually exist. Takes about two weeks to get a clear picture.
Program Design
Based on what we learned, we build a curriculum that addresses your team's specific needs. Could be three lunch sessions or a full quarterly series—depends on scope.
Delivery & Support
Sessions run on-site or virtually, depending on your setup. We provide materials participants can actually use afterward, not just PowerPoint handouts they'll never open again.
